Default Sprinkler water marks on car?

We have water marks on our car (including windshield) that I cannot remove with windex. Does anyone know of a product that we can use on both the car and glass windows?

Default Water/Rust Stains

Would also like recommendations for getting the yellow rust/water stains off of the white painted foundation of our house. Thanks in advance.

Distilled vinegar will remove the spots, but after wiping with vinegar, you will need to wash, rinse and probably wax again. You don't want to let the vinegar sit on the car too long........I would wipe an area then rinse, and repeat.

What aussiemom said. You can make a 50-50 mix of water and vinegar to use for cleaning. That helps to reduce the potential of having any problems with the surface being clean. Then rinse with water.

And as George suggested, just a good cleaner wax might do the trick as well. Also a good idea to use that as a follow-up to using the vinegar-and-water solution - helps protect the surface.

You can use Chrome Cleaner on the glass (wet glass with water before applying the cleaner). After it is clean, apply some Rain-X to keep water spots from forming. A good cleaning compound will take the spots off the paint. I would had rub rather than buff so you do not damage the paint. Water spots are easier to remove if you keep a good coat of wax on your paint.

Ace Hardware carries something called "White Ox." It was in the Ace flyer today. My neighbor used it last year to remove the stains on their house and a year later the foundation was still clear of rust stains so we tried it. I think the container says to spray on and then hose off. We found that the bottle covered more territory putting a little at a time in a shallow container and using a brush. Because the foundation material is rough, the brush got into the grooves. Amazing stuff!

I am assuming the garage is full and the sprinklers are aimed incorrectly. No problems here.

All it takes is a gust of wind to get the car wet from a properly adjusted sprinkler head...or...a sprinkler head long the roadway on a windy day to get the car wet. By the time you get back home, you've got spots.
