Talking Tomatoe Plants Look'n Good

Planted Tomatoe plants Feb 28th, and plants looking real good. Have about dozen tomatoes size of half dollar at least. I gambled, by planting them early, wrapped around in plastic, to keep the cold out. Looks like, could have tomatoe sandwiches at end of month. Yummmmmmmmmmmy!!!!!!!:m mmm:

Mine looked great last year. when they started to turn red the birds came in and had a feast. No more tomatoes. If you can find a screen top to put over them it might be a good idea.

I got some 2x2s and chicken wire at Home Depot and built cages to protect my tomatos from birds.
