After our neighbors did a good deal of research and comparison, they used TOP CUT OF OCALA to do some landscaping renovations. We were so impressed with their job, we hired them to do some for us. The owner/operator is Albert Morales, 352-307-9590.

Today, they removed many plants along the back of our house, removed lots of rock, put down new weed cover, replaced rocks and added new rocks, trimmed our many remaining bushes, removed seed pods from our palms, and adjusted some sprinklers. They also removed and trimmed items not "in the deal" to make it more uniform at no additional charge.

In addition, they completely cleaned all of the cement curbing that totally surrounds our home. It looks like new.

They cleaned up all of the trimmings, cleaned the street, and were so professional and enjoyable to deal with. We will be using them from now on for any of our trimming or revisions.

Yes, they do a great job on their first visit, but beware...don't sign up for the regular maintance program, for those who leave for short or long periods, they will bill you and not provide the proper service...I left for 3 months, got billed, paid for the monthly service, only to return earlier than expected to find no service had been completed, and it was CLEAR! I called, they were willingly to give me 2 months credit, they claim the billing process is just done automatic each month, I stated a bill should have never been sent if service had not been preformed. The same issue happend to a neighbor with Top Cut. Hopefully they have addressed this issue, because before this issue, service was good...just don't leave your home thinking the same service will continue.

I've used Top Cut for a couple of years for monthly "weeding and pruning!"

They never fail to come.

They almost never fail to prune.

They do not always get all the weeds.

Still and all, they do more than I am willing to or capable of doing these days.

I could wish that they didn't use motorized/mechanized machines for pruning; I think the method is harder or my bushes than it needs to be.

I have yet to find any one else who's willing to do this hard-pay-attention-to-the-details work on a regular basis.

My ideal: have my landscaping designed by a true professional who also offers semi-monthly care thereof, including quarterly replacement of annual flowers as well as periodic trimming, watering, fertilizing, etc, etc.

Not sure that my budget would necessarily accommodate such service!
