Default Waterfall/pond

Any recommendations for individual or business to build a waterfall pond in my patio?

INSIDE your patio, IMHO, sounds like a major problem when this leaks, and they all appear to leak at some point. If you are after an inside water feature, there are stores that sell these, as well as online sources. These are usually self-contained and relatively easy to install. If you are after an OUTSIDE unit, some of the landscapers should be able to do this type of project. Depending on your installation you may need ARC approval for the outside unit, I would call first to check.

Would a nice fountain work out for you? They are much easier to maintain and can be removed or replaced with little effort.

Be aware even small waterfall/ponds draw frogs which attract snakes.

This is inside your home footprint, you don't need ARC.
If it leaks, it wasn't engineered right, or wasn't installed right.
Do you want it above (on) your patio? Cut in and below the patio? Or a combination of the 2?
Using for fish? Plants? Neither?
Pond interior to be pvc shell? Tile? River rock bottom?
Natural stone or something more colonial or Italian looking?

Bad news is.. the companies that were focused on water features, went out of business or are all now more focused on landscape designs and installs because there is a larger market. The few of us that are capable of doing a well designed/engineered and installed water feature will be fairly expensive because they are time consuming for the crew and the boss, taking away from the windfall of "easier" landscapes to install.

20 years ago I LOVED the occasional water feature. It would really depend on the specifics now days.

If the waterfall noise will be heard by neighbors, don't do it. It is inconsiderate and they may not like it. Not everyone likes the sound of water.

Landscaper for 40+ years here...

TVT is correct, all water features leak eventually.

Normal is also correct. A pre-built, free-standing fountain is the best bet for maintenance.

If the water makes noise, it means it is splashing. That means water is being ejected into the air. Most of it falls back in the basin, but not all. So smaller waterfall, with a bigger footprint is better.

If neighbors aren’t a fan of waterfall, then a pool would really put them over the top

We love our waterfalls from Creative Outdoor Design (owned by Robert Parker). Ours are right outside our lanai, but on his website’s photo gallery, you can see waterfalls that were built inside screened lanais and alongside patios. His company did a very nice job on our landscaping too.

Thank you for actually answering the OP’s question. It’s refreshing, for a change.
