I was very surprised to find when trying to find a PCP here that some well known and well liked physicians are NOT board certified. I never thought to ask before.

I am not suggesting that Dr. Rivero is not qualified or board certified...I just like to know where Doctors trained and did their residency. I am a Doctor SNOB.

I have a friend who goes to Dr Rivero. He practices with Dr. Miralaya who was recommended by my PCP.

Citrus Cardiology is a good place to go as they are competent.

Ms Gracie if you navigate this site, you can find information on any doctor licensed in the State of Florida. Including education from BS to Fellowships. There is also another site that I put their license in to find out whether or not they have had any malpractice judgements against them.

In reference to the Florida site:

Type in the last name
Select the county from the drop down box
click on Find Provider

from the 3 tabs, click on Practioner Profile

from the 8 tabs, click on Education and Training

If you want info on another doctor, go back to the search page highlite Rivero's name and delete
