Not a good sign. Hope they're doing something wrong with their billing. Have you called to find out why?

It is happening everywhere, not just at Colony. It's the new rules that went into effect to support the "affordable health care" laws that is being funded with Medicare cuts. On another forum I belong to retires all over the country are voicing the same complaint.

Remember the 500 billion in Medicare cuts that were to be used to pay for the affordable health care? Your seeing that results.

It happened to my father as well. When I told him why, he refuses to believe me.

I am noticing the same thing. Our insurance used to cover everything.

After spending about 3 hours we got to the bottom of it. The Dr had used the wrong code on every single line. They assure us they will get it all corrected.
So don't just write the checks and cuss the AHCA.

I've had no problems re billings on Medicare ever, let alone in recent months.
After eight years of coverage, the only problem was related to the provider goofing up the billing...usually entering the wrong billing code.
I've never seen any insurance-related matter run so effortlessly and smoothly as Medicare...never!
