Messed up blood tests for my wife and ordered unnecessary, painful surgery.
Not sure where she got her medical degree. We left her. |

I see this physician for my rheumatoid arthritis and have found her to be professional, knowlegable and up til now hasn't ordered anything unnecessary. From the OP's post we don't know what the patient's issues are and what the total story is. Until more folks would post negative encounters, I'm going to take this with a 'grain of salt'.

it would be benificial if why blood test were incorrect, bad blood draw, lab lost blood or other issues..and what surgery was performed by this doctor? Was there another medical provider involved? i find most surgery has some pain, to over welming pain.

I think the OP said the Dr. ordered surgery; not necessarily performed it. My husband has RA and we will be looking for a specialist upon our arrival in TV. I'm glad to see some positive posts about this Dr., as she comes highly recommended to us.

An unnecessary muscle biopsy with 9 staples. Should have sent to a neurologist instead based on nerve study. Incompetent.

Good luck.... try walking around with a limp for over 6 months. But.... take it with a grain of salt. Sorry I mentioned it.

Definitely a good idea to get a second opinion when in doubt.

I'm thinking if your comments had been formed more clearly....ie. "we're no longer going to use Dr. Ingrim and this is why..." I agree that I'd probably not go back to any physician that some how had affected me adversely. When I began my "journey" with RA I saw a certain rheumatologist that just didn't "click" with me. Information wasn't given clearly (this is a horrendous disease that can in it's worst case be life-threatening) with what to expect nor even the medications to choose..... the "chemistry" we had wasn't positive. I dug around for information on others that might work well with me along with being in my insurance network. Because of my RA I was even willing to drive a distance for treatment. "IF" in the future my relationship somehow is compromised with Dr. Ingrim then I too would make a change. But for now, I don't see any redflags from my personal perspective that is. |

I, too, had a limp for a year and a half after moving here. Blamed it on the damp climate. However, I found an exercise instructor that cleared up the problem in a few days. I now can skip down the street!

Seeing neurologist Dr. Smirnoff. Will ultimately wind up at Stands hospital in Gainesville. The sad state of events is she should have been referred to a neurologist months ago. My intention is to highlight the situation. She has to walk with a Cain.
