Default Hearing doctor

I need a hearing doctor, not a hearing aid sales business. Can anyone recommend a medical doctor?

I have been very happy with each doctor and dentist that I have gone to, after referrals onTOTV.

Thank you.

My wife has had great results from Dr. Al Turri, Director of Audiology, 352-205-4032. He is part of the Specialty Care Center of The Villages Health. I understand they accept most health insurances as opposed to the Care Centers but a call would answer that one.

It’s not clear what you are looking for.
Do you need a medical doctor because of an infection or pain or do you need a doctor of audiology?
For a doctor of audiology we love Paige Holt. She is part of a MEDICAL practice and will refer you to a medical doctor if you need an Rx or surgery.

you might also want to check and see which doctors accept the medical insurance coverage that you have

doctors aren't always accepting every insurance now a days

Default Audiologist

After having my yearly wellness check, I was told to have my hearing checked. A friend recommended Paige Holt at Lake ENT, and after she checked my hearing, she informed me that I have normal senior hearing loss, and that if I bought a hearing aide, I probably wouldn't use it, so don't bother. I really appreciated her honesty, and felt that if I had gone to one of the hearing aide centers, I'm sure I would have left with a very expensive hearing aide.

Don't understand anyone that could improve their quality of life and doesn't take advantage of the technology. The fact that you wouldn't use it, and she somehow knew that, is a sorta pessimistic view. It is a personal choice and you chose not to use them, but that's on you, and to expect others to gain from your post is baffling. Others have personal choices also.
