We three got them at Publix yesterday and they gave us each a ten dollar gift certificate. Nice of them. Pharmacist gave a non ouchy shot that later caused some soreness. Just enough to tell us our bodies are manufacturing immunity.

We all three got the shots last year as we always do and husband got the flu, but it was not as bad as it might have been without it. He had returned from a business trip on the petri dish called an airplane. We quarantined him and served him like a king and waved at him through the window until he was well. Last years flu killed thousands and thousands of people.

Actually it’s the #1 excuse for those who are forced to get a flu shot or lose your job.
