Default Primary Care Physician Recommendations Please

Due to an insurance change, we need to find a new primary care doctor. I would prefer to find one somewhere in the central area, but of course location is secondary to quality.

Does anybody have any experience with Dr. Novis in Lady Lake?

There are a few medical facilities along Old Camp Road, like Citrus Cardiology Consultants, Lakeview Healthcare System, and possibly others. Anybody have any experience with these?

Again, finding a good doctor is most important. Location is secondary. Any recommendations and experiences are much appreciated.

Been a while, but I could still use recommendations.

Thanks in advance.

We have been happy with Lakeview. However two specialists in their group have just left and not sure how happy we will be with their replacements.

I'd be hesitant about using word-of-mouth recommendations. One of those led me to Premier Medical, located behind Publix on Buenos Aires. Suffice it to say I wouldn't go back there on a bet. Doctor was pretty good, but the support staff seemed to screw up things routinely. Took me two weeks to get a prescription squared away that should have taken five minutes.
