Wrong
The CDC initially told everyone that the vaccine would prevent infection. Then after breakthrough cases became common, the CDC changed its messaging to reality. Fauci orchestrated the messaging to help push a political agenda

Almost a million deaths now. About half of these deaths since 2020. Before 2020 the death total was constantly shown on news stations in the corner of the screen.
Political media agenda at work

I have followed this from day one. I was one (if not the) first posters here posting spreading stats, infection rates, etc. And every post was met with lies and distortions. THE WHO and CDC have always referred to testing results for how effective it is. They have said the way to stop COVID is to get enough people vaccinated to reach herd immunity. In a since you could misinterpret that to mean that vaccination can prevent YOU from getting COVID. But, that is NOT what it means.

I challenge all of the deniers here misrepresenting what the CDC said to provide an official statement by the CDC (not some politician misquoting them) that says if YOU get vaccinated YOU will not get COVID.

That is a FOX, OAN and Newsman lie.
You have and I have read probably all your posts and thank you.

Boosters do not just STOP working at 4 weeks - sigh. They reduce in effectiveness to 50% after 3 months (on average). And yes they still help with current variants, but less than against the original. Less is not nothing, less is less.

Viruses always mutate quickly, that is why we can thank the anti-vaxers for the current variants. Had everyone gotten vaccinated as soon as possible, there would have been fewer hosts, and fewer hosts means fewer variants.
Viruses always mutate quickly?

If that's the case, please explain why the polio vaccine has been so successful...

So you're saying that there is no longer an incentive to call everything a "covid death"?

Pshaw, you say!

There is freakin video of Salensky saying it!

You can say she never said it all you want, but it's on tape! Same with Fauci!

But sure, keep touting your lie...I know you believe it...

It also is very comforting knowing this virus has evolved and is not nearly as virulent as the original strain.

Stay well everyone.
Love your positive attitude. Hope you are feeling better. We went on a cruise in May and no issues. But now that cruise lines are allowing people onboard without vaccinations however must be tested (not sure of the 'home tests allowed'), I'm a little more hesitant but that's not going to stop me from going soon!

People are still dying of Covid and people are still dying of the influenza virus. These viruses are endemic now and we are learning to live with them. This is probably why Covid deaths are not news worthy any more. In fact, I haven't heard the "Covid" word on main stream media for, what it seems like, months now. It is just not news worthy anymore.

Compliance of the masses was much greater to combat the polio virus. There was not an anti-vaxxer movement so great that made people fear the vaccine. Thank goodness people back then complied and did the right thing by getting vaccinated. In the words of George M. Cohan......"My mother thanks you, my father thanks you, my sister thanks you and I thank you."

There really is no more risk with non-vaccinated people than vaccinated people.
People either have the virus, or they don't, whatever their vaccination status.
Do you ask customers/staffs status before entering a shop?
You're mixing with both daily!

I have seen a study from the UK that shows the vaccine and boosters are having a negative effect on the immune system. Would like to see the specifics on that as well.

Please provide the link of Dr. Salensky saying the vaccine will prevent Covid. I looked for it but came up dry. I never heard any of the doctors or immunologists or scientists say that if you get vaccinated, you will not get Covid. That was just not relayed to me and I was a sponge listening and watching these experts being interviewed on TV. First of all, no scientist would ever make that sort of claim if they are worth their weight in salt. (Is that how that saying goes????)

Old proverb I have lived by all of my adult life....."Never say never and never say all".
