Thank you. Luckily it was only a few months ago and was a fairly mild variant.
Dr had us take paxlovid and while it helped with the symptoms did get a mild case of rebound covid. With hindsight would not have done anything differently |

Thank you. I was fine even with Covid. It was milder than a mild cold and I never lost taste and smell. Hubby tested each time I tested and he remained negative the entire time. I tested negative on day 11 after my initial symptoms and tested negative again 48 hours later. These home tests are great and insurance pays for them.

I hope everyone is ready for the latest Covid booster shots.
No need to worry. They are perfectly safe. They were tested on 8, as in less than 9 and more than 7, mice. 8 mice. Best of luck. |

I had reaction to first 1/2 dose of Moderna. So forbidden to receive any other dose. Then again I was exposed for more than a year, on a daily basis, never testing positive. Must have been all the fruit and veggies I ate from our garden without washing gave me a super immune system.

The very newest Covid Booster was released yesterday 9-7-22. Wife and I both got our shots yesterday but really out of protest. If we were not going on a Mediterranean cruise where Spain is requiring boosters, we would NOT be putting this unknown into our body. It is like they are holding a gun to your head and saying do it or else. It is obvious that we want to travel pretty bad.

Thanks. I'm due for my Moderna booster in December. I will be getting it for sure. Funny story about the mice, BTW.

Funny because it's true.

Funny people have no problem having others take the risk for them in clinical trials.
This release is similar to what the U.S. has done when ordering influenza shots for decades. |

Except it's not... The flu shots are not approved via "emergency authorization"...

Emergency Use Authorization Vs. Full FDA Approval: What’s the Difference? > News > Yale Medicine. "How does the EUA process differ from the full FDA approval process? Amid the myriad paperwork/administrative differences between the two options (more detail below), there are two standout differences—and they have nothing to do with the scientific rigor of the trials. For an EUA for a COVID-19 vaccine, for example, the FDA requires that at least half of the clinical trial participants be followed for at least two months after vaccination. For full FDA approval of a COVID-19 vaccine, participants are followed for at least six months. The full approval requires more data about the vaccine-maker’s processes and facilities, including inspections of manufacturing plants. " |
