Default Primary Care Doctor

Can anyone recommend a primary care doctor who

(1) is accepting new patients,
(2) seems to care about his/her patients as people, instead of revenue sources,
(3) speaks clear English.

My last doctor (Walker) left Rivers Family Medicine and, since then, they seem unable to retain doctors.

Thanks,

Call Dr. Yeshia Butt (female) at Premire Medical Associates at 352-259-2159.
She truly cares about you and speaks pretty good English as she is from Canada.

Thank you for your advice. The primary reason we moved to The Villages was our preception of outstanding health care being readily available here. So far, in our four years here, we have moved through four primary care doctors after finding that their standards of care are not what we are looking for. By contrast, when we lived in Hawaii, we used the same primary care doctor for the six years we were there, and before moving to Hawaii, we used the same primary care doctor for more than ten years.

In view of advancing age and medical issues, we want to find a doctor here that meets our needs for conscientious care and communication skills. For most medical issues, we resort to the Urgent Care at Lake Sumter, but would still like to have a continuing medical relationship with one primary doctor who views us as elderly people who need medical assistance, not as mere money machines.
