Default Federal Retiree Insurance

What health insurance plan do you have? Are you happy with it?

I have blue cross/blue shield standard option. Overall, satisfied with it...premiums and co-pays go up every year and percent you pay for covered services keeps going up. But, most doctors and hospitals accept it, it's a national plan, and their paperwork is pretty efficient.

Had an HMO in the DC area so had to switch when we moved.

But, may also depend whether you have Medicare or not. I do not so BCBS is my primary and only health insurance. Some find it too expensive for medigap and prescription coverage.

We have Medicare A & B and Fed BCBS. It's a good match.
