Consider Oaks Dental located in Glenview next to the tennis courts. Golf cart accessible. Good treatment. Wait and monitor approach on major actions to insure least expensive procedure is performed.

We used Lifetime Dentistry for 9 years. The called me on Monday to tell me they no longer accept Florida Blue Insurance.

[QUOTE=retiredguy123;2400068]I had never heard of "deep cleaning" until I moved to The Villages. If a dentist in The Villages recommends a deep cleaning and refuses to do a regular cleaning, run away.

So true. HUGE profit center for the practice, so many dentists will try to scare you into this by telling you that you will loose you teeth unless you get SRP (deep cleaning) with scheduled follow up visits. Get a second opinion from a dentist you can trust.

VIP Dentistry, Angela Emrick, DDS. Located in TV off of 466 near Walmart and the future Costco. Hubby and I are both very happy with her and her staff.

Florida Blue isn't really a great option for dental plans anyway. You could switch to Delta Dental. Lifetime Dentistry accepts their POS plans (that's what I have).
