Looking for recommendations for a good knowledgeable dermatologist in the villages. Have been told by many that you only see a PA at these dermatologist offices. Can anyone recommend a good doctor of dermatology have to get something checked out soon. Thanks!

Advanced Dermatology. Ask when making the appointment you want to be examined by Dr. Bond, not the PA.

I am more than happy to see the ARNPs. As to your specific question, Dr Casper of Alliant.

Have never seen a PA. Although there are very good PA's here. If you are looking for womeone quickly you might have to travel if you want to see a doctor. I know getting in to see Dr. Casper as a new patient is difficult primarily because his practice is recognized as one of the leading practices here and a lot of residents go there. I don't anything about others here but I would suspect getting in as a new patient will take a while if the doc is any good. IMO

Had a biopsy done by the PA Jennifer at Alliant Dermatology. Came back positive and she scheduled me with Dr Casper the next week for the removal. Can't say enough about their professionalism.

Another vote for Dr. Casper. But he is usually booked up for a couple of months.

Someone just posted recently that a new doctor has joined Dr. Casper's practice, so it's worth a call to them.

I called Dr Casper's office but since I was unable to wait a couple of months, I accepted an appointment with one of his PA's Olga Foreman. She took a culture of something and a biopsy of something else. She prescribed an antibiotic and a steroid. I am waiting for results. I am confident that if my conditions are something she can't handle, she will have one of the Doctor's look at it. It's only been 5 days since my appointment but already I see an improvement.
