Angry Moffitt and Preferred Care Partners

I was told yesterday by PCP agent that Moffitt center is not in PCP network.

With all the villagers on PCP insurance, I find it hard to understand why Moffitt choise to not join the network.

Has anyone on PCP used Moffitt without being aware of this issue?

Don't know who told you that, but the agent that told me was an employee in the PCP office in LSL. Wish you were right and she was wrong, but I think she should know.

Could it be that they're on "the list" to be with PCP? My primary provider had to apply...then wait to get on with them. It took months!! For a time, I had to claim a new primary before I got to got back to my original.

I would actually go to Moffitt and ask someone there about this matter.

Yes,it is mind boggling. As is Florida Blue recognizing Moffit but not the Villages Hospital. My wife has Florida Blue but would have to use Leesburg Hospital or Munro in Ocala. This comes straight from the Florida Blue office on 466.
