I have never visited his office but I attended one of his lectures. This was several years ago. If I remember correctly, he is into the holistic approach. He will run tests to see if you have any nutritional deficiencies rather than just prescribing a medication to cover up symptoms. In other words, he believes in getting to the root of the problem.

He's a big believer in recommending supplements to improve health and he sells supplements that he claims are of superior quality. That's the way I remember it. Whether or not he still does that, I don't know. So, I guess the bottom line is: If you like that approach, he may be the doctor for you.
The only way you will know for sure is to give him a try. Then come back here, let us know what happened, and give us your opinion of him.

Unfortunately, very few of the alternative approaches to health are covered by Medicare or health insurance and they can be costly. If you have the means to pursue these approaches then Dr. Kraucak is great. If you are only going to stick to what your insurance will cover, there are probably a lot of conventional doctors around The Villages who would fit the bill just as well. He won't push you into anything you aren't comfortable with but he will try to get to the bottom of the problem without just handling out pills. I like that approach so it works for me. I would much rather take pharmaceuticals as a last resort and do as Hippocrates suggestion and "let food be thy medicine".

Dr. K. has a good reputation here in TV. His wife is both my primary care physician and my pulmonologist. Between the two of them, I believe that I am exceptionally well taken care of!

Despite many Villagers who tend to disparage the local medical community, I am very happy with the care I receive here!
