Heard a neighbor talking about a new dermatologist he had seen and been treated by, Dr. Casper, located in the Santa Fe buildings on 466. As I was concerned about a lesion on my husbands back, we made an appointment for him to be seen.
We were promptly greeted, and then seen by the doctor. The lesions I was worried about were nothing, but doc found 3 pre-cancer lesions that were biopsied. One came back positive and was taken care of on the second visit with freezing. Both of us were very pleased with the whole experience and since there are so many questions about dermatologists, I wanted to pass along this info. |

Many people in my neighborhood are thrilled with Dr. Casper. He found a malignancy on one of my friends that was totally missed by 2 other dermatologists.

My husband and father have both seen him, and they both give him a big thumbs up. Friendly office, good care, no unnecessary follow-ups. Confidence level is high so far.

Both of us have recently seen Dr. Casper and he biopsied and then a week later removed a cancerous growth from my back last week.
We both have consulted a dermatologist for years as a preventative measure and we both like Dr. Casper just as much as the one we knew well in Cincinnati. We are very pleased that he does a complete body check and goes over your skin carefully, as he should, but I had heard of other doctors here had their assistants do the exam. I am used to the doctor doing it and I felt more confident in that respect. I would like to ask all of you who have not seen a dermatologist to think about going for a screening. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

I concur. He is concerned, conscientious, a good eye, and almost as good as I am with injections.
![]() Seriously, tho', feel confident with him and his office.

My husband and I both started seeing Dr Casper several months ago, after hearing about him here on an earlier post. We really like his personal attention and professionalism - and his personality. He has a great staff also.

Thanks to him and his staff they finally biopsied a node on my husbands arm (have asked 3 doctors in the past 2 years about it, including Derm. Dr. M. Bond and they did NOTHING) found out it was Stage 3 Malignant Melanoma and in March had surgery at Moffitt Cancer Center along with removing a clump (5) of lymph nodes. They believe they got all the cancer out. But he'll need Dr. Casper to go a full body scan every 3 months and go back to Moffitt every 6 months from now on.
Can't thank Dr. Casper and his staff enough. They saved my husband's life by doing their job! 24 years together just isn't long enough with my husband.
