most likely there's more danger going into the ocean with all the crap that gets thrown into that body of water

we don't even think about swimming in a fresh water lake or pond down here.....aside from the quality of the water itself, there's a gator population in every one of them

Well, think about all the fecal matter and other stuff like rotting fish, bird droppings, etc, in lakes and the ocean!?!? Me thinks swimming pool water might be better but still, I certainly don't feel the need to get in the soup either way!! 😊

I just Googled dr ezike. She’s a pediatrician and her patient base likely has fecal shedding in swimming pools. We are not in her patient base, we are adults.
