Anyone have any experience with either Dr. Luk (I believe there are two Dr. Luk's, a couple). I have a referral for a small surgical problem. Nothing major.

Dr. Kim Luk, the lady, removed my gall bladder several months ago. No problems at all and she was friendly and very professional.

Are you actually referring to Dr. Yin (Tammy) Luk of the Leesburg Regional Medical Center and The Villages Hospital? I think so. My browser search didn't find a Dr. Kim Luk.

I went to The Villages Hospital ER with a very painful abscess and the hospital assigned her as the surgeon to deal with it. My primary care doctor agreed with the choice.

She did the surgery, followed up in the hospital and I saw her one other time at her office in Leesburg for discharge.

She was friendly, reassuring and professional. There were no problems after the surgery; recovery took about three weeks.

I had surgery performed by Dr Tammy Luk - excellent surgeon and a heck of a nice person. If I need surgery again, she's at the head of my list.

Dr. Tammy Luk is an excellent surgeon as I have worked with her in a professional environment. I would certainly select her or Celia Nelson for surgery at TVRH if needed.
