Default Seeking referrals for surgeon

Hi Villagers, I have multiple back and spine issues in the lumbar region. Based on a recent MRI I was told it is time to consult a surgeon. Physical therapy is no longer an option. I have researched surgeons but keep reading too many bad reviews so now I need your help please. I don’t care to travel too far away but I am looking for your referrals to seek help for this and soon. Please share. Thanks and Merry Christmas 🎄

Had unbearable back pain the travel down my left leg and couldn’t walk. When my pain doctor saw my MRI he said epidurals won’t help so he recommended a neurosurgeon. Saw Dr. Christopher Baker in Orlando and though I was against anyone messing around with my spinal cord he put my wife and I at ease by patiently going over my MRI layer by layer. Had L3 and L4 fused and that stopped the pain pretty quickly since the disc was no longer pressing on my spinal cord.
So I definitely recommend advent health and Dr. Baker if you’re needing a competent caring neurosurgeon. (407) 975-0200

Default Dr Baker

Dr Baker now has an office in Tavares. He is there on Fridays. Just did surgery on my wife and she is very pleased with the results and the post op care.

Depends on your back pain issue, of course.

I had spinal stenosis in my lower lumbar, severe pain. Dr. Rajashekar at Villages Health suggested and performed a MILD procedure (minimally invasive lumbar decompression) on me and it has worked wonders for that area. I still have pretty bad arthritis throughout my back, but I can say my lumbar is pretty darn good. The procedure is actually quite simple and virtually painless.

Bio Spine Institute in Orlando. They did my procedure in October of last year; I could barely walk from the pain when I went in, I’ve had NO PAIN since then. Several people I have referred to them have had incredible results.
