We just now received the opportunity from GMR for my wife to sign up for her first dose. She was on the GMR appointment list ( not the registration list) just a day or two after my original appointment with GMR. She is now appointed with GMR again, but for tomorrow and March 4. So they are apparently going in order of original registration.

If you don't mind, could you tell me what your original date was for the first dose? My wife was scheduled for Jan. 21, and I was Jan 23rd. I helped friends register 3 hours after we did, and we were scheduled 4 and 6 days later than them, so I don't have much confidence in the accuracy of their list

My original appointment with GMR for first dose was Jan 19. Wife received e-mail mid- afternoon with code to make her first appointment.. When she made it, the return e-mail also gave her the date and time for the second dose. Just like the first time before doses ran out. She did not re- register . We assume that GMR just picked up where DOH left off.

I to had an appointment on Jan 22, that was cancelled when they ran out of vaccine.
Received an email today with an appointment code.....have appointment tomorrow.
Looks like they are doing what they said they would do.😎

I was scheduled for my first vaccine on January 25th,, than was canceled. Got an email today with a new code to set up an appointment. I am scheduled for tomorrow to get my first injection. It seems like they are following through on what they promised.

They use a very small, 21 ga or smaller needles. Similar to a diabetic syringe. You don't feel it. Usually no blood at the injection site.

Likely what you noticed in the video is the safety sheth over the needle

The code is used to actually book the appointment.

If half TV residents get the shot that would be around 70,000.
For good measuring and guessing or out guessing the second guessers throw in another 30,000 for visitors, and all other....
Hence 100,000 folks to vaccinate.
At 1000 per day all done by the end of April.
There should be more than 1000 per day so sometime during the next 90 days all the hub bub and racing to get an appointment will be over.

On a list?
Most of us are.
You could be next....many have posted that they were and are lucky.
Those who are number 29,001 or 39,001 just have to sit and wait.

We have put in a year of waiting....another 1-90 days...not a problem!!

When I finally got on, all the close spots were taken so I managed to get my wife a spot in Deltona and when they allowed me to try a second spot, I got one at the same place for two hours later....tomorrow. I was going to wait for the VA, but just wanted to see if Publix would give me another spot so I took it when offered. We have family coming down next month to visit and they have all had the virus and survived, so I had to make sure that the wife had her shot. She is really concerned about how big the needle is. I have no idea why they are using such large needles, but I am not a medical person. I have given plenty of shots though, and give one to her every month and the needle is very small. Maybe someone on here knows why the vaccination needle is so large? And thick as well as long. No wonder folks are sore when they do it. The idea is usually to relax your arm as much as possible before they insert the needle and it won't hurt as much.

shots for 2 weeks got mine Thursday had an appointment but they were taking all bets by afternoon counting the 15 minute break after shot I was there 25 minutes

So, I don't think you can actually make an appointment with a 5 digit code. You can only do Step 1, which is to use the 5 digit code to register and get on the waiting list.

Thank you! He tells me he is already registered. Is the "Step 1" I see on the site something that happens after you have registered? I'm confused because he had someone else help him register so I don't know if that person completed the "Step 1" on this site or someplace else. I don't want to accidentally "re-register" him and lose his place in line.

Thanks for your help.

I am a coward and a wuss and a chicken and a baby and a sissy.

I believe you need a reservation and the address will be on your confirmation.

(which means I don't know and it doesn't matter since I wouldn't be able to be vaccinated if I happened to find it)
