Default Good eye doctors in the Villages?

Kathie's thread below was informative but specific to Ocala Eye Care so I decided to give this a go with its own thread. Dr. Armstrong sounded interesting. My eye doctor retired after 40 years and I'd like to start with a Villages based eye doctor. I'm looking for someone for general care, contact lens experience and one that takes care of all those maladies that come with aging....or is it maturing. I'm not sure about groups but wouldn't rule them out if they were highly recommended. Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.

Cabo...the last time I was in TV I suffered a gel separation..I had it checked out a the TV hospital and a eye specialist came in to see me at 2 am. He was good and I liked him. Somewhere I have his card, I will look around for it.

Take Care

I am the Clinic director for Optometric services at the new Sams club (opening mid Jan). I have practiced in central florida for over 25 years. Our clinic wil provide comprehensive eye exams, contact lenses and fittings and glasses. You do NOT need to be a sams club member to get eye exams. Please come by when we open and meet us.
