Just moved in and need recommendation for General Practitioner. Don't have major problems, just checkups and minor things that develop. Don't want to wait for emergency. Need someone I can establish relationship with before I need a doctor. Thanks

I use Dr Eburuche MD, Board Certified Internal Medicine. She's in the Sharon Morris Building near the hospital. Others have commented on her. You might type her name under search and bring up the other posts. She is kind with a great sense of humor. Tel:750-6358

I would suggest that you check with your medical insurance provider and get a list of doctors that they allow before you start calling for an appointment. Different insurance companies support different doctors. Or at least ask the doctor if he/she accepts your insurance card.

You might also consider checking with local hospitals (Leesburg, The Villages & Ocala) and request booklets listing the doctors that have privileges at hospital including their specialties, education & office numbers and addresses.
