Dr. Williams is great. Walked out and hour after waking up. great PT people. Good look with Dr. Duke. Had my first appointment with his office in Nov. Was told I would have 2 more office visits and he'd probably get to surgery in late April, 5 month later.

I’m so sorry the knee was rejected. It sounds very painful. I’ve heard of spacers for revisions and infections. I hope your husband is doing much better now.

Default Optimotion Orthopedics

Dr. Nguyen did mine. He is in Orlando but my follow up was here. Dr. Martinez and Dr. Dinh are here on route 44. They are all great but one thing they do different is make the incision on the SIDE of your knee not up the front. I have only had the side approach so can’t say for sure but they say it reduces the pain because you don’t have a cut into your quads. Yes I was golfing at 7 weeks but…it was still healing and swelling and some pain. These things don’t heal overnight. Dr. kept reminding me that it could take a full year to be 100% and he was pretty much right. Just want to set your expectations.

Dr Karina did mine 5 years ago. I was up and walking without help in 2 weeks and golfing in 2 months. I did do all the exercises before and after surgery that I was told to do and am very happy with the results.

I had horrible experiences with Dr Karina!! He told me I needed immediate knee replacement!! I decided to start with a gel shot to think about it and get second opinion. He proceeded to shoot in the wrong knee!! Then his office labeled my chart wrong that I needed a hip replacement!! My second opinion told me I did not need any surgery at all; only some rehab! I went to a third doctor back up north in chicago and he said no surgery needed!! It’s now been 6 years and my knee is still fine!!!

Hands down, James Duke is the best knee and hip surgeon in the area. He has completed more than 10,000 surgeries and is highly respected by his clients. He was voted Best Doc in Ocala in recent years. Go to James B Duke, MD PA for more information.

He is in The Villages near the hospital once a week. He does surgeries at AdventHealth in Clermont.

He did my total replacement surgery 6 years ago. He is gental and passionate in his work. He does the entire surgery by himself unlike others that use PAs to do most of their procedures.

I’m an Army trained medical specialist and own a 23 year old international Radiology medical company and I have not seen a better joint replacement Orthopedic!
