Did you get any response to this inquiry? We've had our policy for many years, from John Hancock. PM me with your email address and I'll send you the name of our rep, who is in Nevada, by the way. She's great.

You can apply for United Healthcare through AARP on the AARP website (if you are an AARP member). We've had this insurance for almost 10 years. Have never had any problems with providers taking the insurance.

My wife and I have John Hancock LTHC insurance and we were just informed that our premiums would be going up 87 percent over the next three years. That's right 87 percent. The door has been opened for insurance companies and we will feel the pain.

How did you get that news? Our John Hancock premiums went up about 40 percent in one jump two years ago.

My Athem insurance just went up another $100. per month. I called and requested to change policies and was told I can't get a new policy until November. I don't understand why if I have a policy now and want to change to another policy I have to wait until November? I guess that is why they raised it again, because they have me trapped. Now $8,556. more per year than in 2008. What to do?
