*Dentist*

My insurance requires me to use aspen dental or smile design of the villages
Any advice ?

I do not know anything about smile design but stay away from Aspen.

I am a dental hygienist but I just moved here a few weeks ago so I don't know "the scoop" yet. But I can assure you that Aspen does not have the patient as a priority. Reaching their daily business goals is the bottom line. It is a corporation that hires dentists.

I agree with above, try contacting your insurance provider, and see if they will allow you to submit a claim for at least the minimal coverage at a dentist of your choosing, the "out of network" coverage, most policies have this type of coverage. You will not get the same amount of coverage, but something is better then nothing.
