Went to see Dr Long today, and he was amazing. Full body scan machine and he checks you for any problems or concerns. Next year you can see if you have any changes. Dr Long is so knowledgeable and kind. He took off a little problem on my wife's eyelid that her Doctor recommended to be removed. It was quick and easy.

Going be to see him every year to keep safe from the Florida sun.

Sounds good, I checked out Tyler Long and he is a board certified dermatologist even though he has an osteopathic degree.

However, full body scanner???? For what purpose???? In a dermatology office???? And the magic question: How much does it cost since most insurances won't pay for this since it generally serves no useful purpose as a screening procedure.

Seems like a full body skin scanner is a perfect fit for a dermatologist office. Why would you not want to have early detection of potential skin issues and a way to better track changes over time to determine when further evolution is necessary, and when it is not warranted? Early intervention is a good thing.

And just what type of skin lesion would a "full body scanner" detect that can't be found just by looking? Hint: none. The scanners are more like low level CTs, looking at the inside of the body. The problem is they find meaningless little spots that now need to be followed.
