Default New Dentist Recommendation Please

Does anyone know a local good dentist that does not require an "evaluation" before he/she will clean and check teeth? Many of us have had regular dental care and I find it an insult (and robbery!) for local dentists to require an evaluation before a standard visit. A Tampa dentist told me that mid-Florida dentists are famous for this extra cost. I just want a good, regular dentist.

I go to Dr. Jerkins in Fruitland Park. I first saw him with an urgent problem with jaw pain. He took X-Rays and started me on an antibiotic with the recommendation I see the hygienist when the pain subsided. I've never felt like I was a victim of the up selling you hear about. Friendly office staff as well. I don't know if he requires the evaluation visit, but I doubt it from my experiences in that office.

Do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Dr. Jerkins. Excellent staff and a great dentist.

You mean you found a dentist that didn't want to sell you implants?

We think the best dentists we have ever used are Drs. Kathleen Williams and Reem Jabar at Palm Ridge Dentistry in the Palm Ridge Plaza behind Lang Eye off 466.

Both educated at University of Florida at Gainesville. Gentle and very smart.
