Default Looking for Oncologist

I am looking for a recommendation for a good medical oncologist. I would be willing to even drive as far as Orlando for a good one..

Thanks in advance for your input..

I have heard good things about Moffitt in Tampa.H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute - Wikipedia

I wish you well. I personally know how frightening it is to get a diagnosis of cancer. Mine was treated in Cincinnati.

You have our prayers.

From personal experience.... Dr. Stephen Staal MD. Medical Director, Hematology/Oncology Univ of Florida Medical Oncology, Davis Cancer Pavillion, Gainesville, Fl. 1 - 352 - 265 - 0725. Very pleasant, kind, compassionate physician.. Takes time to listen and explains everything, answers all your questions.

It might help to name the specialty. I know an excellent Gynecologist/oncologist in Orlando.

Were you treated by Dr. Reyes? I just got a referral for him at that place.

I am a breast cancer surviving, taking meds. I need an Oncologist that can do a 6 month check and give me a Prolia shot. I have a great one in NC but if I can find one here that a local Villager has and likes, I will not have to go back to NC or wait to come back to my favorite place here in The Villages. Timing these trips are not always convenient..

Thanks for your input...
