I've had this off and on for a few years. I used to see a chiropractor for back pain (not my hips) and the "solution" was temporary. There is also a muscle that mimics sciatica---the periformis muscle. It could be inflamed but stretching may help. Back to my issues---went to P.T. and it helped for awhile....until recently. I have an app't for an MRI to determine the cause and a few days later with a pain dr. Add to this I've been diagnosed with osteoarthritis as well as rheumatoid arthritis (both are very different from one another). Our bodies are complicated so I wish you well in finding a workable solution.

My guess…you dont like DOs either.
Todays chiripractors are no longer tge ones that declared 100 years ago they could cure all diseases by manipulation.

Chipopractors have helped many people. But i agree..go to. Doctor first to diagnose the priblem.

My guess…u were a surgeon…lol. No bedside manner.

A broad brush comment about almost anything or anybody is probably wrong.

Dr. David Kuhn, DC in Wildwood on 301. Palmer School grad was the first DC in this area 30-40 years ago. Old school hands on evaluation and treatment. I wouldn't hesitate getting an appointment for evaluation and a course of treatment. There are plenty of ortho surgeons that exist to replace your joints. Try natural first.

I had a hip replacement last year by Dr. Duke. Recovery was fast and easy. Very happy I had it done.

Had my hip replaced. It is now as good as new. Used Dr Joseph Locker at Orthopedic Institute in Ocala 5 stars. I wish I had skipped all the shots and pain and had it done sooner.

Fortunately, I have a high tolerance for pain and am going to power through it a little longer until I am eligible for Medicare and get a good Part G Medigap plan. The good news is that the ortho Doc told me the hip replacement is a picnic in the park compared to the knee replacement I already had done. Dam, all the mogul skiing, water skiing, football, basketball, lacrosse, baseball, hiking the white mountains, etc… is coming back to haunt me now.
Alas. People don’t usually realize that sports like that can hurt them until the damage has been done, often in the name of being healthy. They might improve cardiovascular fitness, but perhaps less than a proper diet and more moderate exercise like walking and climbing stairs and a bit of weight lifting now and then.

Olcott treated me for a nagging back pain problem. Problem solved in three sessions and they did not recommend returning.
