Then you better be looking at top notch medical facilities. Sometime ago, US News came out with a listing of best hospitals, best this, that and the other, and this link is to what they consider to be the best Neurosurgeons in the US.

Without knowing what the problem is, it is difficult. Having said that, the *best* neurosurgeon in the world is Dr Allan Friedman, chair of Neurosurgery at Duke Medical School. He's the guy that Teddy Kennedy went to. PM me if you want any additional comments - my wife is a patient of his and we (along with almost all of his patients) think that he is absolutely the greatest.

Daniel Spurrier for sure! Had him do a non-evasive surgery a couple of years ago...kept hearing from the ambulance driver, to the ER folks, nurses on the floor and the home-health-care folks that he's THE best. You can be cared for right here in T.V.!!!!!!
