Default Neuropathy revisited

In doing a search I did not find any recent threads on peripheral neuropathy. Has anyone found any newer treatments that DO work?

CBD oil (tincture) works well. My pcp even concurs with this. You may find it at the Green Apple or Olcott Chiropratic (you don't have to be a patient). It "might" seem pricey BUT you only use a couple of drops sublingually. I use the Green Roads Terpenes (citrus for inflammation---I have RA) from Olcott. Dr. Josh can direct you to the right kind for your issue.

Gabapentin 300 mg pills work great for my feet. In fact after ten years I no longer have to take it. My doctor said I could take up to 9 aday, 2700 mg max. There was one negative, the past year it would cause me sleep walk, so I was happy when my feet quit hurting. I have my diabetes 2 under better control now and I think that was the difference, diet and exercise.

Have you tried Meloxicam? I had great luck with pain relief but ended up getting swelling in legs and had to discontinue it. If you can take it, it can make a big difference at least for me it did.

Hmmmm…...snake oil sold at a chiropractor's office----I have my doubts. OP: I'd stick with gabapentin or lyrica, if you want to add something more "homeopathic", try a high potency B complex vitamin, especially B1,B6 and B12

My husband takes medical marijuana (MMT). He doesn't smoke it and it is not habit forming, it's a gel-like substance that he takes by mouth. He goes to Trulieve in Summerfield.

I know you're a doctor...but I KNOW 1st hand it's helped me with my RA pain. I've read testimonials (FB support site) and it's NOT "snake oil". Does it help everyone, perhaps not, but don't diss it unless you try it. I've done the meloxicam, gabapentin, prednisone thing without much help from them. I've also done the B's as well. I do self-advocacy for my health-care.
