Default Dr. Novis dropping Aenta Insurance as of 1/1/25. Looking for replacement

Within one day, we found out our doctor (Norman Novis) was dropping out of our plan the next day! Talk about short time to find a replacement We have medical followups so are looking for good physicians that Aetna Medicare Plan.

Begging for recommendations, lol.

BTW, this is the third plan he dropped in a year...so be sure to check if he still is your doctor.

Not all Aetna plans are affected.

We have an Aetna PPO ESA plan and Dr. Novis will continue to be our provider.
Review the letter you received from Aetna. Only HMO or HMO-POS plans are affected.

Dr. Novis' office told me that Aetna made the decision, not Dr. Novis.

I wanted to confirm this with Dr. Novis' office, but so far they haven't gotten back to them.
Who did you speak to at his office.

Very valuable information. Most naysayers of advantage plans have no idea the difference between a HMO and PPO. An HMO is a localized plan whereas a PPO is usually very wide coverage some to the point of being nationwide with as good of coverage as standard
Medicare plus supplement. The PPO generally will cost more and have higher deductibles usually without any specialists referrals required. If you stay with Dr Novis you might consider switching to the Aetna PPO plan. You will greatly increase your choices of providers.
