Default Optum UHC rebate

We just got $300+ refund check for all our year to date drug copays for incorrectly charging us all year.

Nice working capital scam by UHC.

The insurances stories about denied claims are just incredulous, along with a video of UHC chairman claiming they are the leaders in keeping medical costs under control. Same color koolaid as other cults serve.

If you have been treated so poorly by them, why not change carriers?

It's the ONLY employer offered high deductible plan, with HSA options which just started being offered last year. The fact that it took our employer so many years to offer a HDP with the HSA option is also depressing.

But yeah, better late than never. . .

how many people change jobs just for better medical plans when the new job would also require either relocation or lots of commuting miles?
