I have that problem. Eyes water sometimes so much that it looks like I'm crying. Had some surgery (tear duct) but it didn't help all that much. I have learned to just live with it----there are worse things!

For the first time, over the past week or so, my eyes have been bothering me. The Original Visine seems to help a bit. I just checked and there is also a Visine-A for allergies.

For over a month my eyes would water all the time whether I was playing golf or not. They were itchy and felt like sandpaper in the morning. I went to the urgent care and they put me on antibiotic eyedrops for allergic conjunctivitis. I used them for 7 days. No my eyes don't water at all.

There is an over the counter eye drop for itchy eyes. It is called Alaway. Made by Bausch & Lomb. It works great

I am very allergic to the preservatives in many eye drops.

Through trial and error and with the help of my ophthalmologist, I now use Systane Ultra - individual doses of drops in small sealed, sterile tubes.
The individual ones are preservative free. (other brands are too, when packaged this way)

I keep mine in the fridge- they are extra soothing when cool. My doc said they can be used every 5 minutes you like…. very safe.

They are also good for flushing/rinsing if you get a speck of something caught in your eye.

I buy them at Walmart- lots of stores have them. Costs about $10 a box, but well worth it.
Good to use before sleep, too.
