Default Long Term Insurance

What do you think? Is it a necessity or a optional idea?

Here's a good article explaining it, and it includes ways to lower premiums:

If you put "long term insurance" in the search box of TOTV you will find numerous postings in the past about its pros and cons.

It is a way to protect your assets; take the burden off your children/spouse to be caregivers and a way to choose where you want your care. There are three options; traditional insurance policy; universal life insurance with accelerated long term care benefits and self insure. Some people do not need to fund the entire cost of long term care with a policy. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
