Will do! On the other hand, I think we should ALL try this so we have a large statistical base for our scientific conclusion.
And no jokes about my already large base....

I doubt you'll have any difficulty lining up lots of people for the ice-cream diet. I'm in!

In addition to the monthly Crispers meeting there will now be a monthly meeting at an ice cream parlor. Sign up now.

I began taking Raspberry Ketone and Safflower Oil only a week ago. Will let you know if it works. Oh, btw, I'm down 2 lbs. but I don't hold that sacred since I tend to go up and down all the time anyway.

TWO pounds already! But Safflower oil? What happened to the coffee?
I'm not signing up for a safflower oil & raspberry ice cream diet.
VillagesPL, cross my name off the list.

I've been taking something for the past couple of weeks marketed by the Amish here in Canada, called "Jogging in a Jar", composed of apple cider vinegar and some other ingredients. (I'm taking it for arthritis, not for weight loss, although that would be a plus). So far nothing is happening except for violent heartburn and a lifetime hatred for apple cider vinegar.

Judy, I'll meet you a High Five for a frozen yogurt in the Fall when I get back!

Hahaha! So sorry about the lifetime hatred for apple cider vinegar! Jogging in a jar, indeed. Oh, those wacky Amish!
See you in the fall for frozen yogurt!

Down another pound this morning......22 more to go!

From Livestrong.com:
"...Safflower Oil and Waistline Fat Reduction
Taking a safflower oil supplement may not directly result in weight loss, but it does reduce the amount of fat around your waistline, according to a study from Ohio State University and published in the September 2009 issue of "The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.” Participants in the study took a daily dose of 1 2/3 tsp. of safflower oil – containing 6.4 g of linoleic acid – for two 16-week periods separated by four weeks without the safflower oil supplement. While participants did not show significant weight loss, they lost about 6.3 percent – 2.6 to 4.2 lbs. – of body fat around their waistlines.
Improve Body Composition with Safflower Oil
You can improve your body composition by taking a daily supplement of safflower oil, according to the same study of 36 participants from Ohio State University. A lower fat-to-muscle ratio helps you lose weight because the increased muscle mass enables you to burn more calories while resting. At the end of the study, researchers found taking the safflower oil supplement resulted in the participant gaining about 1.4 to 3 lbs. of lean muscle..."

I have been taking the Raspberry for over a week now and haven't seen any results yet. But if THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY says the Safflower Oil works then I will trust them and give it a try. GO BUCKS!!!

Once again, you can't fool mother-nature. Your body is rebelling for good reason. The vinegar weight loss trick is a poor strategy for weight loss. The reason is: Vinegar is high in acid and your body needs to be slightly alkaline for good health. The same is true for alcholic beverages such as wine, beer etc.. They are high in acid. Although, some foods like tomatoes and lemons, high in acid, get metabolized as alkaline. And, by the way, most processed foods like ice cream make the body more acidic.

There are at least a few books that explain this. One is: "The pH Miracle: Balance Your Diet, Reclaim Your Health" by Robert O. Young PhD.
