Just looking for a good place to get a basic eye exam.

I was super-impressed with Dr. Collins at Eyesite of the Village. I've recommended him to three other people, all of whom reported back that they were very happy with him as well. Everyone in his office is very friendly, and he takes his time and answers your questions in detail.

WalMart on 466 has a good optician, who I’ve used for several years.

Lange Eye, just off 466 and CR101(?) near the CVS, very through, and associated with Dr. Ireland if you need cataract surgery. I use Hindsight for glasses (Pinellas Plaza).
