Default Electrophysiologist Cardiologist

Looking for recommendations for an EP Cardiolgist in the Gainsville area.

Found a few in TV but would rather have doc at a teaching institute.

Hubby is very active and healthy but has this electrical problem (afib) with heart that keeps rearing its ugly head.

Thank you so much for the link! We have requested an appointment (yesterday) and awaiting a call back.

We are looking for a recommendation for a physician with excellent abilities (hubby had ablation twice - first one took 6 hours, second took 8 hours).

We absolutely loved the specialist from our hometown, but this is not an option since we are here full time.

I hope things will work out well. A third ablation is unusual. And 6-8 hours is fairly normal. God bless.

A friend and neighbor moved here from New Jersey and would only move here if he found the appropriate heart care. Many electro problems that I do not understand. I know the UF-Shands hospital Dr Miles( Myles?) has been the best for him.

Had my second ablation done at UF Shands hosital in 2012, no problems since. About 6 hours on the table. My doctor has moved on. Dr. Myles was head doctor, but did not operate.
