Default Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS)

My husband Ron is SUFFERING with RLS.
If he suffers, WE suffer. If you have RLS, survived someone with RLS, hurt for your partner with RLS, please share here. He / WE deserve help. Suggest away. To top it off, 2 months ago he had a partial knee replacement done. All experiences welcome.
Many thanks.

I got RLS from the side effects of statin cholesterol medicine. Klonopin has controlled it.

My mother has had RLS for years. She has always taken 1 mg of Mirapex three times a day. Recently, the doctor had to raise it to 4 times a day. The neurologist recommended she take 1 at 6 PM and the other 3 at bedtime.

I don't have it very badly so on the nights when it starts I take an OTC homeopathic sublingual (under the tongue) pill from Hyland's called "Restful Legs." It comes in a 50 count bottle and I get it at Wal-Mart but you can get it at any drug store. I think they have it in regular pills but the SL acts faster.
