Default Rheumatologist Needed

Can you recommend a good rheumatologist for rheumatoid arthritis? I prefer a doc who is open minded and will view me as a partner in decision making. It also helps if he or she is familiar with integrative medicinal treatments such as supplements, diet, vitamins etc.

Default Good rheumatologist

I have been a patient of Miguel Gonzalez who's board certified in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. I find him very thorough and professional and takes time with his patients. A couple of times when I had an appointment and had another medical issue that he thought needed to be addressed, he actually took time to call the other MD personally before I left. I would highly recommend him. His offices are located in Lady Lake (near Home Depot) and Leesburg (near the Mall).

You might look into the Villa Medical Group.

I second the vote for Dr. Gonzalez. I was referred to him through my primary. I have scleroderma and he is very thorough.
