Default In search of an endocrinologist for thyroid biopsy

I am looking for recommendations for an endocrinologist in or near The Villages. . .for a biopsy.

#1. If you have any experience with Dr. Banda from Premier Medical, please share your experience with me.

#2. If you have experience with another endocrinologist, a good experience, please share with me. . .especially if you’ve undergone a biopsy on thyroid.

Thank you.

If you don't mind, the first question is who determined you need a thyroid biopsy? Assuming it was your PCP, the next question is who did he/she recommend?
Most thyroid biopsies are performed by surgeons, and needle biopsies by interventional radiologists, although I'm sure there are a few endocrinologists who are qualified to perform them. I'm sorry I can't help with specific doctors however.

Earlier this year a routine blood test showed my thyroid enzymes were a bit out of whack and my regular doctor had me do an ultrasound.

They had the needle biopsy done by an interventional radiologist and happily it was deemed normal.

We seem to be one of the fortunate ones who are very happy with the medical care we receive here.
