I'm a new Village resident. Looking for a good woman internist.

Assuming you mean female doctor who is an internist....

Based on recommendations here and other sites, when my original GP left town, I went to see Dr Carmen Eburuche. Just had an initial once over since I did not have any specific issues. I found her very thorough, personable, and patient... a good listener. Her office was efficient...wait time was minimal. She has offices up in Mulberry Grove area as well as TV hospital annex building. From initial call to appt date was maybe 3 weeks...again, this was routine, not an emergency.

I have also heard good things about Dr Jane Cai, but, have no first hand experience.

I also see Dr. Eburuche and have been very pleased. She truly listens. I decided to use her not only as an internist but also as a gynecologist. I thought, however, she completely moved out of the Mulberry Office and now only works out of the the Sharon Morse Building.

A doctor recommended to me for an internist Dr. Jagalur. He is with Mid-Florida Medical Group in Sumter Landing.
Has anyone seen him?

Thanks.

MSNPa,

You may be right about Dr Eburuche's office move...I got the impression that the move to the office near the Hospital was recent. I guess I just assumed it was a second location, not a replacement for Mulberry. Thanks for the clarification. Glad to hear you like her too.

Is Dr. Eburuche's English clear and easy to understand? I have seen more than one foreign physician that I have trouble understanding.

Also, is she at Mulberry or Sharon Morse?

Cinco,

Dr Eburuche is 100% American....born, raised, and educated in the US. She speaks perfect English and is a great communicator. Can't always assume from the spelling of a name that someone is foreign-born.

I went to see her at the Sharon Morse building....from what another poster wrote, this is her only office....Mulberry is closed.

I noticed that Dr. Eburuche is in practice by herself. Who covers for her when she is not available for emergencies? Does she see her patients in the hospital or does she use a hospitalist? Thanks.
