Official notice that bankruptcy has been filed. It includes instructions on how to be informed about all the gory details as the process moves forward. If you don't want to be inundated with mail, you will still get mail about the highlights, as appropriate. (I would have thought that that notice would only go to creditors, and my being a patient wouldn't qualify, but I'll chalk it up as another of the mysteries of life.)
