I don’t know about dental offices, but I have not run into covid-19 fees anywhere else, unless you count the attempts to price gouge for certain items on Amazon. This virus has cost everyone, not just businesses, a lot of money, maybe those of us here less than others, but where does the average joe get his $10 extra fee? Is that what the stimulas money was for? Give the average household an extra $1200/2400 bucks so they can spend on “covid-19” fees? Makes no sense, especially when many businesses charging it has likely gotten its own stimulas money or forgivesble loans. Sounds to me like a way for business owners to double dip. Yes, I agree, do your research.

Exactly. These villagers have no concern for precautions and safety. They are just cheap and Petty.

Yes. Was told a crown was cracked. Looking at my records it was the crown put in by them. Appt. made to fix but when I asked to see x-rays showing crack there was none. Original dentist Fisher was great. New dentist/owner not so much - will not be returning.

Then don't be a client. And don't pay the fee.

I avoid them. Every time I went in they wanted to put crowns on all my teeth.

The company should absorb any costs as “cost of doing business”.

Maybe they are trying to make up for lost revenue for the last two/three months they were closed. I’m sure TV didn’t forgo the rents. Sometimes we have to realize that somethings have to change to remain constant.

Gee, dental costs are high to begin with because they have to use serious sterilization procedures during normal times. They may have to do a little more cleaning now, like wiping down the chair and arms, but everything else should be thoroughly sanitized anyway. This is like the “gas” surcharge put in by a sanitation company I used once when gas prices went up. Guess what never went away when they came down.

Post #36 says you work in Michigan.
Why are you so critical of people who live in The Villages?

That is insane. I have been going there because they are on my plan but not impressed with the work they have done at all! You need to contact the Better Business Bureau.
