57 patients of the 759 inmates that were just tested at the jail in Tavares and ALL of them were asymptomatic. The jails and prisons are a big kicker in uptick of cases. Also the large cities still have a big number of increases. The Villages and Sumter County have held up pretty well.

The police chief said it was caused by the idiots that have been gathering in large groups to protest and riot. Some places won't allow church services, but they encourage thousands to gather together and protest. Can't fix stupid, but it sure does wear on one's patience.

I agree with your statement.
After 3 months in quarantine, society should know to continue social distancing and wash their hands for 20 seconds..those who neglect the simple rules will be at risk contracting the virus..
We should continue this practice for a couple of years and until vaccine has proven to work effectively.

I just think we, just like here in Texas, there’s a spike because people decide to do what they want & do whatever they want. People have to go back to work to pay bills& the only way you can do that is to go back into the public or that just don’t care what happens. But it does seem strange spikes are just in 3 or 4 states, & the worst state NY isn’t one of them. That’s a better question, why haven’t they spiked?

Here is a recent video that summarizes the approaches to vaccine development. It takes a long time to develop, test and manufacture a novel vaccine. If we have a safe, effective and readily available vaccine in two years it will be amazing, in one year would be incredible. I will not be among the first to get a rushed vaccine. I will wait a few months to see if the first folks get protected without significant side effects.
