Well I finally made it to the Hand Specialists yesterday. And, yes, I got two needles in ring finger and thumb for trigger finger. Was told I have to wait 3-10 days before I see any improvement. If doesn't work, I have to go back again, for two more shots. OUCH!!!! If they don't work, then surgery!!!!! Glad its over for now. hehehehehehe

Default Pinky finger wouldn't work

I had trigger finger about 25 years ago. It was my pinky finger. I didn't have pain but was unable to straighten or bend my finger. Had to use my other hand to physically open or close my finger. Got it from painting, painting and more painting! Holding my hand around a paint roller handle. I just had surgery. They didn't put me to sleep, just numbed my hand. Not being able to,use my hand for a while was frustrating, but never had a problem after that. Best of luck with what ever treatment you choose.

Yes, doctor said it is usually caused by something that is repaticious, (over and over again) I got it from cutting down large oak tree branches, and then I clipped all the branches into little pieces, and filled 18 bags (big brown waste bags) I thought I was doing them a favor. Sure didn't do myself a favor. Haven't played golf in 6 weeks, because can't grip clubs. You probably got yours from gripping paint rollers and brushes!!! Lets see what happens. I'll give it a full 2 weeks
