Default USF Specialty Care Center

I see that this is going to open soon at the site of the former Villages Wellness Center. I have been curious about what this Center will offer and how it ties into the new Villages Health Centers opening around the Villages with "Marcus Welby" type doctors. Tried Googling it and found info about opening and start of construction but nothing about Specialty Care Services. Does anyone know?

I used to live in Tampa and know the USF Physicians were considered the best.

It will be staffed by specialists coming from USF Health Group in Tampa at USF. Worked there for many years and consider them to be excellant. Anyone can be referred to them.

Hancle704, because of the ties with The Villages Health System, I think it's safe to say that there will be plenty of publicity as the opening approaches.

I think the 3/11/13 & 3/13/13 pdf document links on this page might give you some of what you're looking for.

I read those articles previously. And since they do not offer any specifics about what specialties will be part of the new center I submitted my post.

Thanks for your feedback on that. The only thing I know is that they will currently refer to wherever needed as I have already been referred to outside the system regarding a procedure I should have. I wish you luck in finding out more, but I think the information you're looking for may not be forthcoming until the powers to be decide they want to provide it or until they have actually filled planned positions.
